wicketbear Posted June 5, 2020 Report Share Posted June 5, 2020 I have a 2014 Journey SE 86,000 miles and it is hesitating when I give it gas to accelerate. If I give it gas gradually its fine but if I have to accelerate quickly if chokes then goes and will often choke again then settle down and run very smoothly until I have to accelerate quickly again. 2late4u Posted June 5, 2020 Report Share Posted June 5, 2020 need more info on what eng you have if 2.4 change your plugs as they should be changed every 30 k and only use OEM plugs dont use any thing different. or do you have the 3.6 eng. the plugs on them go 100k but that doesn't mean they are still good might want to have them replaced but on the 3.6 it will cost a lot more to replace them as they are harder to change.good luck jkeaton 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
