OhareFred
Need some more info: which engine? AWD or FWD? Mileage? Exactly what lights are on? Is the check engine light flashing or on steady? Does it restart once you put it in park? Was it in an accident? If you don’t wait 5 mins does it run? Were you having any other issues before? If you answer those that might be a good starting point....
Lmarti
My dj is Awd about a little over 102k miles, no accidents , full power to car all lights on like headlights dashboard ect. Car shuts off when going to reverse to drive.feels like car is in neutral.
John/Horace
Could be dozens of different things. Scanning for obd codes even if no dash light always a good start. Any recent repair work done on vehicle? When car is running in park does it seem normal, no shaking or sputtering?
OhareFred
Can you put it in N, restart it, and go to D? Does it die every time you put it in D? my 09 had an issue with stalling going from R to D, but only in the colder weather. Dealer ended up replacing intake plenum...
