jkeaton
No, your panel is saying your door is open and your seat belt is not on. OhareFred, 2late4u and 2.4journey2013 1

OhareFred
I know on Jeeps when that happened it’s a shifter malfunction, maybe the same? You could try disconnecting the battery for 30-45 mins, sometimes that clears weird electrical issues but this might require a trip to The dealer.... JohnnyRevs
If the battery is good, the engine should at least try to start - if the voltage is over 12, it will usually turnover. If the starter is stuck you could try tapping the solenoid with a hammer - might be enough to free it (worked for me recently). IIRC, there is also a switch on the transmission that tells the ecu that its in Park and ok to start. Suggestions only I'm afraid as I do not have an auto. Good luck with it. Laur
I took the starter off and checked, it is working. I reinstalled it back. the engine turn over but no starting. do not smell gasoline at all. what should I check first? no engine code. How to check spark plug and coil? larryl
Could be fuel pump, also your timing belt if it's a v6 3.5 OhareFred
Hidiety
Bust out your owners manual an look at the section for fuses. There are 2 in the vehicle for ignition. 1 in the panel under the hood and 1 under the dash. Since you have power and a jump still won't turn it over that would be my slightly educated guess. Dbloxham518
You could try tapping the starter. Mine just needed a little "hay wake up" tap a few weeks after buying it and it hasn't gone bad yet.
John/Horace
It’s turning over but not starting. CPS sensor can be bad, or timing belt has jumped, remove cover and inspect teeth on belt. OhareFred
JohnnyRevs
Well, if its turning over, try to narrow down the issue - you need spark, fuel and air. Have u plugged in a diagnostic scan tool? jkeaton
5rebel9
It's been a month since this thread was started with NO response back from the OP. Stated NO code,NO turnover, NO sound. From his picture of the gear position, would lead me to think bad battery or cable connections(ground or positive). I've seen this a few times with Dodge family minivans.
