kwirges
Well, I got a little spooked this weekend driving my Journey. I heard a rather loud warning beep and then saw a message that said, "system warnings available"....HOLY CRAP...I thought. After scrolling through I found that my "windshield washer fluid was low!" Now, I haven't refilled it yet and it has been two days...but the Journey is nice enough to give me a loud beep and error message everytime I drive to remind me. I don't know, but to me, this isn't worthy of a "System Warning Message" and is a little annoying.

Using (or, rather, attempting to use) your windshield washers when the fluid is too low for the pump to pick up can result in a ruined pump. kconnors
kwirges, If you live here in the frozen North like I do it becomes a safety issue. If you are unable to wash your windows in the Winter it doesn't take long before you can't see anything. Most vehicles have that warning now. Hit-By-Thunder
I agree, my 93 Grand Caravan has it too and it is great to know it is getting low rather than driving along and running out when you need it most. My work Van (2007 GMC Savanna 2500) does not have this an it erks me. I check it just about every second day cause I am paranoid about running it empty Rob
larryl
Yes we Canadians need that minor annoyance & I hope it never breaks as I rely on it in my 2000 T&C Now if it would just arrive @ my dealer-I could have walked to Michigan & picked it up by now The wait continues
