JACS
My Dodge Journey 2016 was working good, but suddenly while driving the engine just turned off. Panel and lights continue as normal. It began trying to start again on its own. The only way I could get it to stop cranking and turn it off was to put on parking again and then to N. The check engine turned on. Took it to the repair shop, codes were specific of crank and cam sensor (not sure written correctly). They were replaced. 4 days later, again same story. Check engine on again, now it was like low voltage. recommendation was to replace battery which I did. Next day, while driving, engine again turned off. Now the car cranks but does not starts. Lights, radio, and everything inside powers normally. Scanners connected to the computer get no power from it so no codes. Any suggestions on why could this be happening? JACS
Powertrain warranty covers engine and transmission, the thing is that it is some kind of electrical problem which I don’t think is covered under it. I will take it to the dealership for a diagnosis. Thanks for the advice.
