Daryl La Forge
Sorry haven't been able to find any help in search. When I go to shut off my 2012 Journey the selector says park but a info flashes on the screen saying NOT IN PARK. And not able to shut engine off by push button. So I have been pulling the fuel pump fuse to turn it off. From doing research I found that the transmission shift range sensor could be the problem? Anybody else have this problem or any info to add? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The range "sensor" is inside the trans, and I THINK can be reached by removing the FRONT cover and "solenoid" pack. NOT hard, BUT must be careful(not a novice job).
