Timothy Wickham
I just recently bought a Dodge Journey GT 2018 and wanted to hook an aftermarket amp up to the factory stereo. So I have been looking online for the past couple days to try to find the color code for the subwoofer wires and cannot find it anywhere for the 2018. I have a l. O. C pro line output converter. I am hoping somebody that is a little more familiar would it help me out.

Timothy Wickham
I have a 2018 Dodge Journey GT with the 8.4 Uconnect Alpine factory amp. I need a wire diagram for the radio and for the factory amp I am trying to hook up a Loc. I want to keep the factory radio in the car and add a amplifier
Timothy Wickham
I will have to double-check this diagram to see if it matches my harness because every other diagram I looked at the colors did not match . Mine has the 7 speaker system with the subwoofer in the back I was hoping to connect up under my passenger seat where my factory amp is located in connect to my subwoofer speaker wire but if this well work for behind the radio I guess I we'll have to do that. I have searched for a plug and play harness but everyone that I have found was for a different year and not for the one with the factory Alpine system. And I do have wiretap so I will not be cutting harness. Thanks for the help hopefully this will be the wire diagram I need. I will leave an update after I get in there and check it out
Timothy Wickham
Yeah normally I'm very good at hooking up stereos but this one stereo is the only one that's had me stumped. I know about the 9 volt battery I do recone speakers I've use that when I couldn't tell which wire was positive and which one was negative on the coils. 1 thing that is weird I took the door panels off to check the color of the speaker wires they are all the same color but when they go into the amp they're different color so I'm assuming that they brake connection underneath the carpet somewhere. As soon as I get off work today I'm going to try your diagram out and I will leave you a message let you know what I find out thanks again. Timothy Wickham
I also found this harness online on the p a c website it says it's for 2011 to 2020 but in another spot and another website it says it's only for 2011 to 2017. So I guess I'm going to try to contact them and see if it would work on the 2018 Edited April 28, 2021 by Timothy Wickham
John/Horace
What style of wiretap For dash work? https://www.posi-products.com/posiplug.html I find this type bad for corrosion on exposed wiring like trailer hitches. No seal at all. https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwj2j9jwsKHwAhWDbm8EHSG4C8QYABAHGgJqZg&ohost=www.google.ca&cid=CAASEuRodRPdv4IMPdg035yS1I7z0w&sig=AOD64_0uNVI5jwgRZWG-1oorLDYrH8_Esg&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwiTv87wsKHwAhUTac0KHV9RCUoQ5bgDegQIARBk&adurl=
