tool6996
Try the MOPAR acessory site. Odd's are that's part of the Chrome package. And I quote myself "not even on the Mopar site". I have R/T, it's not part of any chrome package since I have all the chrome you can get from the factory. If you have the accesory book from the dealership you can see it for yourself on the first page.

Hit-By-Thunder
Tool6996, can you post a picture of the moldings so we know exactly what you are meaning. I can't get into the dodge accessory site for some reason Thanks Rob
stl_hemi
He's talking about the door rub strips that run down the sides of the Journey that protect it from other owners of POS cars that kick their doors into yours.
tool6996
It's not on the Mopar site, it's only in the catalog you get at dealerships.
Snow-Bird
It's not on the Mopar site, it's only in the catalog you get at dealerships. tool6996 - I know the mouldings you are talking about and am also looking for them. I've searched the net for HOURS trying to find with no luck. I'll keep you posted if I find anything! Those make the Journey look SO much better! Any great sites you have would be appreciated! Here's what my baby has gotten so far AFTER purchase... Stone White Journey R/T AWD (loaded) HID lights (Bosch aftermarket) Chrome gas cap Molded mud flaps Polished Dodge door sills Dodge Vent shades/sunroof deflector Rear cargo tray that folds 50/50 with 3rd seat (Ebay) Dark slate slush mats LOOKING FOR/AT: back bumber protector (the white scuffs VERY easily!) chrome side mouldings Billet grille (Ebay) parking sensors front/rear (I have the camera, but it has its limitations) I'll try to post a pic soon! Mred
Try the MOPAR acessory site. Odd's are that's part of the Chrome package. We got our body side mouldings on Ebay. They are not chrome, they are black and our Journey is black. The dealer will install for $50, but you probably can install them yourself.

New to this forum stuff... Snow-Bird Bird, We installed the parking sensors when we bought our Journey. A couple weeks after the install, my wife backed in to another car. The sensors went off after contact. A new bumper is about $600 to replace. I'm not sure if the metallic paint reduces the sensor sensitivity, but I wouldn't install the sensors if I had the chance to do it again. The sensors on our last car were much more sensitive than on the Journey. These were factory MOPAR sensors. Maybe 3rd party sensors will work better for you. Just an FYI
mikem
Top bring this thread back on topic, the side moldings are now on the Mopar site under: Exterior--Exterior Appearance--Chrome Molding. Price is $216 per set.
Snow-Bird
What kind of HID lights did you get? I am looking to get the same thing, any info would be great. Thanks Hi Journeyinblack- Sorry I've taken so long in getting back to you. Life is interesting... I ended up scrapping the Bosch kit when the right side quit working after coming in to contact with water. I found a kit online - http://www.shopxenon.com/ or http://www.xenonpros.com/ - for around $120. I wouldn't go with anything above 6000K, though. After that, it really starts to look blue. I've had them in for quite a while now, and while I do get people flashing their highbeams at me sometimes, I still wouldn't trade them for anything! Hope that helps! Just an FYI Hi LBD-CT - Thanks for the heads up!! I did not get the Mopar ones - I got some from http://www.sportsimportsltd.com/ that were already painted white for my car. As my hubby hasn't installed them yet I'm not sure how well they will do, but I'll be sure to post something on here to let all know. Thanks again! rockfsh32
You can get the chrome body side moldings through the MOPAR site, ebay, or your dealer. I was able to pick them up from my dealer for a couple dollars more than going through ebay (once you added shipping it was almost a wash). The dealer charges $50 to put them on. They screwed mine up (at least in my view, my wife doesn't think so). The moldings (according to the picture in the brochure) should align with the back edge of the front door and the front edge of the back door to give you a nice nearly solid chrome stripe. My dealer centered them (length wise) on the doors leaving about a half inch gap to the front of the back door and back of the front door. Height-wise on the door they look great. Now I'm wondering if I should make them re-do it (with new moldings at their expense of course) and how they would do it without damaging the paint, etc. Argh!!! Or maybe I should just leave them alone. So far to my loaded Inferno Red R/T i've added: Chrome Door Sills (I installed these... easy) (ebay) Chrome License Plate Holders (ebay) Chrome Ram Head Logo License Plate Screw Covers (ebay) Chrome Ram Head Logo Valve Stem Covers (ebay) Dark Slate Slush Mats (ebay) Second back-up set of carpeted mats (ebay) Couple of cool Keychains - Con-rod/piston with Ram Head Logo (ebay) - Chrome detachable version with Ram Head Logo & R/t (ebay) Escort Solo 2 Radar Detector (ebay) I'll have to post a picture if I ever take it out of the garage... don't like getting it dirty
