12 PACK
The Mrs. tells me the passenger side high beam isn't working. I open the hood and notice the wire behind the bulb is cut/chewed cleanly. I'll have to unwind the bundle of wires that goes across the front of the car to see what it connects to and how long it is to replace it. I could strip and wrap the wire where it's cut or replace the entire wire. Anyone do this?
2late4u
id go the short route and just splice into it the closet you can to the light .Why go any father and maybe do more damage? Armando G
OhareFred
Use shrink tube over it or one of these.... https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B073RMRCC3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I used these, better than not soldering but easier.... John/Horace
If flush means against socket, new ones aren’t expensive and give enough wire to splice into harness with. Avoid just taping connections if possible. It dries out and falls off. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/dodge,2014,journey,3.6l+v6,3300354,electrical-bulb+&+socket,headlamp+socket,4056 OhareFred
