dgrosecl
My Iphone 4 has stopped connecting to the USB ports/charging phone in my 2019 Journey. The car is 2 years old and no problems had been occurring connecting the phone to the USB ports. I disconnected the cable from the USB, took it into the house and connected to a wall outlet and Phone began charging immediately. The ports are also showing blue activity lights. Audio output via the AUX connection still works. Any ideas/suggestions? 21 minutes ago
OhareFred
Try deleting and repairing your phone. Seems to fix a lot of connection issues.
dgrosecl
I am fairly certain the Car sees the phone only as an Auxiliary device. I'll check to be sure when I leave work this afternoon.
dgrosecl
There are no menus in the "Settings" for phones. There are no buttons or other controls for Phones in the car. Guess the next step is to get a different phone and see if it connects/charges. If another phone connects successfully, then it's the phone...if not, then it's the car.
