Sbristow84
Has anyone attempted to remove the oil pan from a 2009 3.5 V-6? My gasket is leaking and I went to change it. But I can get the pan off all the way. It is almost as I have to pull the exhaust off the block to drop the pan. Any help is greatly appreciated. John/Horace
Pics? Might want to clean up threads on drain plug as same time, they have a tendency to seize up. My brothers did. Its not uncommon to have to remove exhaust on some engines for oil pan removal. Maybe jack up from underneath with a motor mount removed might gain clearance.
