mosherken435
Hi my wife's car shot out a bunch of lime green fluid. Tasted it not sweet. And her coolant is also orange. Wondering what this may be. It got sent to a shop and they said the oil filter hose is leaking. But clearly oil is not orange. So wondering if any of you guys may know what this may be
5rebel9
Would I be correct in assuming your 2012 Journey has the flex fuel or straight gas 3.6 motor? The only other lime green fluid (other than some brands of coolant) could be DIESEL Fuel. As a new member, when you post, make sure to give engine/drivetrain specifics as there are a few possible offerings.
JeremyJ
It could be the fluid from the A/C system. That stuff is often green in color.

John/Horace
Canada never sold diesel Journey as far as I know. Tire sealant called slime is bright green. Brake fluid is colour of clean oil, slight brown. Power steering is usually light brown or red if ATF+4 is being used and fresh. Transmission fluid used in newer Stellantis vehicle ZF transmissions is bright green and shows up with UV light. No Journey vehicle should use this fluid. Where did the fluid come from, location might be good clue. jkeaton
