Karla Talley
I had just filled up my 2018 Dodge Journey Crossover with gas, and was sitting in a parking space waiting for my husband to come out of the store when it stalled (didn't really sputter, just stalled), tried to start it back up, it started and immediately stalled again. I let it sit for about 3 minutes, then started it up again. This time it stayed running so I shut it off to finish waiting for my husband. While sitting there, my son and I heard a loud clicking sound coming from the back passenger side area (sounded like a plastic vent door was flapping) sound stopped after about 15 seconds, but has kept happening randomly over the last 24 hours. This sound happens while driving, parked, stopped with the car running, with the engine off. Any ideas are welcomed, I have tried to do an online search and cannot find anything, so I thought I would ask here for help. jkeaton
If you have dual zone HVAC, theres a blower back there as well as blend doors.

That is what we thought it was, but it happens even when the back HVAC is off and when the car is turned off.

Blend doors will calibrate themselves regardless. Car on or off. Karla Talley

Thank you, I will have my husband check that when he gets home from work.
