Bret76
Hello, None of my windows will work, at first only the driver side window wouldn't work, but the other ones worked. Then the drivers side door had to be opened for all of the windows to work from the main switch and all passenger switches. Now none of the switches work and even if the door is open the windows do not work. The mechanic wants to charge me $600 to fix it, he says the motor is bad and needs to be replaced. I am not sure if all the motors are bad, or just the one in the driver side door. I bought a new driver side switch, but that did not help. The driver side window Switch makes a buzzing sound. I even checked for a broken wire, but I didn't notice any broken wires in the door. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Neto
My guess would be that a wire (or wires) is/are broken where they go through the boot from the door to the A pillar. It isn't logical (at least not to me) that the motor on the driver's door would also affect the other window winders. John/Horace
Bret76
Thanks! I checked and I do not see a broken wire. I will look again. I also ordered some fuses and I will check to see if that is the issue.
