larryl
Had to put a used Rack and new Transmission mount in my old 13 Journey 168000 miles so it was worth it...LOL
John/Horace
Was the rack pissing fluid from a seal or starting to seize up ? Big job using jack stands instead of a hoist.
larryl
It was leaking from the seal.... not really bad but I got a rack from a wrecker that only had 40000 miles on it from a
John/Horace
Did you bother with new pressure or return lines? There was a recall for the pressure line rotting out, salt on Ontario roads is pretty bad. I’ve been spraying my lines with Rustcheck spray each fall to help out. Which mount was it, front or rear roll stop or side mount? Edited March 20, 2022 by John/Horace
larryl
The lines were good..I spray under the car also.....the mount was a large one I dont know which one it was as my mechanic got it as he noticed the issue when it was on the hoist the rubber bushing was pretty well disintegrated.
