BLT
Since we bought this 2009 Dodge Journey about 4 years ago, I've noticed there is always warm air flowing over my feet when driving. It has always been just annoying, especially in summer, but not annoying enough to worry about having it fixed. But just now, when I drove it was HOT air, HOT enough when I'm wearing flip flops it was almost burning my foot. Any idea what would cause this? All the thermostat things work through all the vents, heat and ac, in dash and floor (that I know of).
5rebel9
IF it is blowing hot air at the feet in ALL positions of the position control dial, then I would conclude that a door inside the HVAC box is disconnnected from a link of position rod that works only when called for floor airflow(hot or cold) on the control knob. It is not a separate actuator just for floor position.
