icscomp
I recently acquired a used 2010 Journey SXT. I'm guessing that the oil change reminder is set for 5,000 miles. I've heard that this can be changed. Can anyone please tell me how to accomplish that? I prefer to change oil & filter every 3,000, and would like to have it set for that. Thanx
2late4u
no real set mileage for it to come on depends on how the car is driven i guess, can be rest really easy,it won't come on at 3k,,, i just use the trip od reading i have 2 settings (a and b) so use the bottom one for my oik change amount ,,,,,,,,,,,, but i do at least 5-6 k before i change mine

jkeaton
Welcome to the forum. Mileage is determined by driving style, conditions and cycles. This is explained in your owners manual. If you don't have an owners manual, you can download one for free. Edited May 26, 2022 by jkeaton 2late4u
icscomp
Thanx for the comments. I was planning on just keeping track myself, but that comment about using one of the trip odometers is really good (I have two as well--a and B). Regards, Dave 2late4u and jkeaton
