martyman.geo
Hi everyone, I am reaching out again to see if anyone has some good info. I responded to an old post last year regarding my backup camera. Still not working nor had any responses. This year my rear windshield wiper just quit working. I replaced the camera and no love there. It used to have garbled 1960s static, but now I get the blank screen treatment. The wiper decided to follow suit and stopped working altogether. The sprayer works but that is about it. I did check all the fuses in case one was burnt out, All look good both inside the car as well as under the hood. Knowing this is not a normal function of the DJ's, does anyone have any advice before I go back to the dealership for out-of-warranty troubleshooting? 5rebel9
YES I DO! As with ANY function that is mounted to the rear hatch , OPEN the hatch and inspect for BROKEN WIRES inside the rubber boot between the hatch and the body. HIGHLY REPORTED spot for lights/wiper AND CAMERA WIRES. 2late4u
