I just took my winter tires off. The first time I started the car after the summer tires were installed the TPMS light came on for a few seconds and then went off. It has not been back on over the last few weeks.
Sam
If you have the EVIC, the car has to know where each sensor is. So I think that you need a special tool to reset them... but I may be wrong. If you don't have the EVIC, it should reset by itself.
