KJ4JOA
Hi all, 2012 Journey, 2.4L DOHC Took the head in for some machine shop work. I hadn't removed the VVTs from the head. The head was returned to me with a box of small parts; the cam sensors and both VVTs. 1. How do I identify which VVT is intake and exhaust? 2 At the front of the head is an aluminum piece that goes across both cams. What is the technical name for this part and is it a dealer-only item? John/Horace
This is pic of exhaust, plug is at 90 degree angle. Intake comes straight from top.
KJ4JOA
Yes to the "is this the part" question. Top piece with the 4 bolts in it. Got the VVTs installed correctly, thanks. Just had to make sure.
