William Burke
2010 R/T. Been through many issues with TIPM, dead battery, starting issues. All of those things have been replaced and happily everything works quite well now, except every so often when starting, the starter continues to crank without starting the car. If I let it go eventually the car will start. I just don't want to grind/drain the starter/battery again. When it does that, we turn it off and turn the key again and it starts right up. Is this something we just have to put up with? Or is there a solution? TIA! P.S. New key FOB's too. John/Horace
Any stored codes ? If no codes a flaky CPS or crank position sensor can cause random no starts. Doesn’t always leave a code, no t expensive part, $30 ish. On awd model can be very hard to get to. Is it 3.5 or 2.4 engine, CPS failure common on 2.4.
