Yogitech1
How can I turn down idle speed with no vacuum leaks? I don't want to burn up transmission or the breaks.
jkeaton
How high is the idle? Perhaps an issue with the TPS if there are no vacuum leaks.

It idles at 1500 rpm. I put it neutral when stopping as to not burn up the transmission.
John/Horace
Scan for codes first. Like Keaton is saying throttle position sensor could cause this. It’s drive by wire so several sensors are in play like gas pedal potentiometer as well.

I found 3 or 4 codes all pointing to the ABS module not communicating with the ECM. Nothing about throttle body or TPS.
John/Horace
Seems weird. ABS shouldn’t affect engine idle. Something seems to be giving extra air or fuel. What brand of scanner, some are better than others.
Armando G
Out of curiosity, what codes did you get? Have you looked at any of the basics? Something as simple as needing a new air filter could cause the idle RPM to rise. I could give you a list of suggestions, but prefer to start with what have you already done? Anything at this point would be a shot in the dark. jkeaton

However, driving around Sunday evening I looked down, the speedometer, odometer we're working and the engine light went out. It fixed itself somehow. John/Horace
Try cleaning up the main body grounds. Strut towers under hood have several and they get messy. Issue may come back again.
