Got a weird one..

Recommended Posts

I purchased a used 2009 year model from an auction the other day. The vehicle was in pretty good condition but would not start because of a breathelizer machine that was installed. Once I removed that from the vehicle, it started right up and I reversed  it off of the tow dolly I picked it up on. The brakes sounded horrible and had no resistance at all. Here's where all the craziness started. The truck had a bunch of dash lights on, so I scanned it with my autel and the one o saw about 3 times in 3 different sections, was "lost communication with ABS module". There were a few other losses of communication.
I noticed a fluid that had created a small puddle at the front driver tire. I got under the truck and saw fluid leaking from the caliper, which I figured is why there was no brake pressure. A few of the rotors looked and felt horrible, so I decided to order a new set of rotors and brake pads. Once I started removing the front caliper that was leaking, I discovered it was kissing an entire outer pad, which caused the piston to come out more than it was supposed to and separated from its seal, and why it was leaking. Replaced the seal, rotor and brake pad and went on to the next. On the rear drivers side, I had to buy a new caliper bracket, as the original had a frozen guide pin, I've never seen one like it. They're supposed to move in and out freely so the pad can travel in and out, well it was stuck completely. Once I replaced them all, I refilled the resovoir and bled the lines. I was hoping it being low on fluid is what was causing the loss of communication, but no. I have attached the codes as photos.
The other problems I have are, the driver side vents aren't getting cold with AC, but passenger side is. No blower motor working in rear, and have that code. The fold down monitor has no power. before I start tearing down the rear to get to the blower motor, I'd like to know if the loss of communication to that, the ABS module, tv screen, hands free may be the issue with the blower too. How would I go about pinpointing the can-bus problem? Any help is appreciated
