@ndy
Hello, does anybody have the same tow bar (tow hitch) on their DJ like in the photos? Looks like a factory model tow hitch, there are holes that match the brackets on either side of the chassis frame, but I just can't figure out how you would put a nut or bolt in there. Maybe sombody has the same nad can take a phto for me or direct me to another post. My DJ is a 2011 2.7 right-hand drive New Zealand new, Thank you. 2late4u
mine wasnt factory but you use a spring the screws onto the bolt thread then pulled thur the hole by a string or wire ;like shown in the video,,are using the oem wires for power i used the wiring kit and went to the battery up front ,,,if you use the factory oem wiring you will have to get the sales code authorized thur the local dealership before it will work DodgeaWrench and Mcgusto82
DodgeaWrench
I installed a Curt #12134 class II hitch receiver on my 2014 DJ. It came with the gizmo 2late4u described used to feed the bolt and hardware through the frame channel. Curtis has several installation videos specific to the DJ showing the process. Easy install.
