indianrefining
Has anyone else noticed how close the Journey is (size-wise) to the original Durango? Other than being about 4 1/2" lower, it's very close to the same size. (I don't know that there's any real significance to that, but thought it was interesting.) mkaresh
I hadn't realized this. I would have assumed that the Durango was longer.
indianrefining
I hadn't realized this. I would have assumed that the Durango was longer. Only a tad. And the Journey is actually "longer" inside due to the transverse-mounted engine.
mkaresh
Well, when I wrote up my impressions of the Journey elsewhere, I remarked that it looks smaller than it actually is. The Durango, on the other hand, must look larger than it actually is.
jaymista
I have been told that the Journey is more like a watered-down version of the Chrysler Pacifica. They say it was Chrysler's answer to replacing the Pacifica but that Chrysler will not be coming out with its own version of the Journey and will leave it as a Dodge brand.
