biturbo
If you are experiencing a lack of power or strange performance with your AWD 2009 model year contact your dealer and ask them about a fix for your exhaust system. They have been finding some early production 2009 model had cross threaded O2 sensors leaky exhaust causing poor performance and erratic running. 100% fixed under warranty. We had our R/T AWD transfer case "PTO" seal replaced and they found the exhaust problem while doing the work. Also found the EXACT same problem on another R/T at the same dealer. Quality control is alive an well, eh?

Quality control is alive an well, eh? I have started to get rotten egg fumes(sulphur?) on an '09 R/T AWD with 74,000km. Happens when you stop at an intersection and especially if the engine has been running for a while. Fumes seem to "catch up" to you and enter the passenger compartment. Have tried different gasoline refiners but it doesn't help, so am wondering if the problem may be related to the PTO seal issue noted above. Anyone having similar problems or could offer suggestions for corrective action?

My Journey is at the dealer right now because at less than 21,000 miles my tranmission blew! Told the dealer about the smell but at this point have bigger problems. Love the car but I believe I will be looking to trade it in for something else once it's been fixed!
