kmac171
Can someone please help me understand why I just replace all 4 rotors and brake pads and after about 3000 miles the steering wobbles like crazy when I stop? I don't know what I did wrong, any ideas?
warbird24
1) Did you torque the wheel properly when the wheels were installed? It's a simple thing and many folks make this mistake. 2) Did you totally clean both sides of the rotors when you installed the pads? This can lead to pad contamination and the problems you are seeing. 3) Have you ever washed the Journey when the brakes were still HOT? Cold water or even slightly cold water can really play havoc with brakes.

I think there's a bad batch of rotors out there. You might want to keep trying to replace the front rotors until the shaking goes away or else have the dealer resurface the rotors using an on car brake lathe
