Burn Posted August 10, 2010 Report Share Posted August 10, 2010 to my surprise , i have found the exact same black trail on my Journey but mine is on the passenger side. Don't know what it is exactly ...does it really coming from the interior ( bad wielding) or something has fallen on it and and burn ? they did the undercoating on my journey so perhaps this is it. I have also a small round black spot under the same muffler.... i will try to clean it and check in a couple of days if it '' leak '' again. im not worried about it ... if the engine was producing that much amount of carbon then why the interior of each muffler tips is clean of carbon deposit ??
