paul-collins
Hi I was hoping to find some pictures of how people might have wired up a rear view camera to their lockpick. I'm a bit leery of pulling panels off without knowing what I'm doing. I have the REU system and rear camera already factory installed. GReading
Hi I was hoping to find some pictures of how people might have wired up a rear view camera to their lockpick. I'm a bit leery of pulling panels off without knowing what I'm doing. I have the REU system and rear camera already factory installed. Go to the following website and scroll down to the Journey BackUp camera and download the pdf. This is the install document for the Journey backup camera. Hopefully it will provide some useful info. http://explorer.cekli.com/articles/pdf/backup-camera-kit
paul-collins
Thanks. Would the factory install be like this or would they be drawing power for the camera closer to the reversing lights (ie in the rear door)? I know the instructions for the lockpick specifically want you to disconnect / reconnect right at the camera but if the power wire is already forward, why not try to repurpose it?
