Stephane Naveteur
Hey guys! I am looking to change my Honda Fit for something bigger, the Journey looks exactly what we need. I read a lot of complaints about the brake issues, are those issues fixed for 2010 models? Thanks Stef
BUGS
The Journey is built on the Avenger platform and they brought the brakes with it. Doesn't seem to be fixed from what I hear. You should be able to get a couple of good stops out of the factory pads before you need to change them. The average life is around 20K km or 12K miles. Perhaps as part of a sale deal you can talk the dealer into ceramic pads right of the get go. I am sure they will know exactly what you speak of when you mention the bicycle brakes they put on the Journey on the line.
