niko
hi i am in the need of new pads and rotor for the rear, 09 journey sxt, not sure about aftermarket rotors they are about $85each and $100 for the pads, aftermarket about $50 each for rotors and $70 for ceramic pads, not sure which way to go, seems that the after market rotors are second line and 90 days warranty, but the dealers ones are 1 year warranty, but all say here how bad factory parts are,, any help please....cheers
juniorgav
I took my car in for oil change around 11000 miles and front brakes were worn down.. Dealership replaced , i told them that this was not acceptable for them to be this low so fast.. Took car in for some front end shaking,, Turns out fron pads worn again at 25000 miles, also the backb brakes were down to 10% remaining and rotors need to be turned. Have the dealership do that,, its under warranty and should be compensated for these faulty parts. They also replace the back calipers and front pad again.. free of charge. Im thinking about getting he extended warranty.

niko
thanks but i bought journey used at 30,000klms it now has 52,000 klms i really dont think there is warranty here, just trying to figure out where to buy parts , aftermarket even though they are cheaper may last as long i am not sure as most aftermarket parts i am told from there parts dealers are from offshore, but what isnt anymore, its frustrating, i think i will take a chance on the cheaper parts just to see what happens, it will be a test against the dodge dealer parts..
