lwitt09DodgeJourney
I was involved in an accident on August 24th. As part of the repair, the Right Front Lower Rail Part #5067882AD was ordered on Sept 3rd and was not received by the repair shop until Sept 29th. My car sat 36 days on blocks, it's obviously not drivable. My rental car reimbursement through my insurance maxed out on Sept 23rd and I'm picking up the car rent tab now. I've been told by Dodge that I CAN NOT be reimbursed for my rental car since it was involved in an accident and it's not a manufacturer recalled part. From a consumer prospective, what does it really matter why the part is needed. If you did have a recall of this part, you'd have parking lots full of undrivable vehicles and it'd be worse than what Toyota dealt with a few months ago. I can't believe that I get the financial burden of rental car expense, because a part is not available. You want people to buy new & used CDJ brands. My consumer confidence/ satisfaction and loyalty to Dodge are more than wavering.
