longhorn
I have a 2010 dodge journey SXT and I have the power seat for the driver. I have recently noticed that after 30,000k the driver seat and a bit of the pass. seat squeek going over bumps and uneven road. i thought it was the centre consol...the car has been driven on dirt roads a bit before i bought it and i think it may have loosened something. it drives me crazy, i just grabbed the headrest pillars and i shook side to side and it replicated the squeek sounds almost perfectly. i will be tightening the main bolts to the seats tomorow, hopefully it will eliminate the annoying squeeky sound. like plastic or something rubbing. I have read some other posts in other car forums that had the owners pull out the seat, and grease tracks, and hinges with graphite grease. has anyone else had this problem? if so pls give some advise....I am hisitant to bring it to the dealer...they always take a few visits to get anything right. longhorn
sorry to hear that, i am hoping to tighten the main bolts on the seat. if that doesn't help, then see about greasing the hinge between the upper the lower seat. any suggestions on any further course of action? thanks
OddJob
I have this too. Only on the Pass side its the under seat compartment plastic if you have this feature. I havent taken the seat out yet to see what I can do. 32000km
