FleshWound
Hi, here's a tip. When filling up, and the gas pump shuts off automatically, it is wise not to add any more fuel as there's a charcoal canister filter in the tank to aid with emissions.(gas fumes) if you saturate this charcoal filter with fuel, you may not be able to restart your vehicle. scoe54
Does anyone know if that is the same for all Dodge vehicles? My wife has a new 2010 Caliber which replaced a 2007 Caliber. In the 2007, there was a ton of room in the tank after the pump auto-shut off, but in the 2010, there is hardly any room at all. It seems to be the same in the 2010 Journey R/T, that is, there isn't much room after the auto-shut off.
Tiptronic
Never " Top off" any MOPARS . If that canister sensor gets wet with fuel , you may find it will start throwing up Codes & non starting probs!!
