JWAR326
Just changed the plugs back to OEM copper Got ngk copper plugs and installed them I turned them in by hand as tight as I could using the extension only then went back with the ratchet and snugged them up I probably did about 3 small back and forth rotations with the ratchet on each plug they were very snug with lot of resistance and I didn't want to risk going any tighter than that and damage plugs or worse threads in the head.Ive driven the car like 30 miles since with no issues idling smooth at like 750ish on tach no fluctuations good throttle response don't seem to be any issues I know the rule is like 1/4 to 1/2 turn after hand tight and just don't know if I tightened It that much after hand tightening as far as possible. I just wanna make sure plugs are in tight enough the car is acting fine I just don't want any of them getting loose on me later on I will change in 30k since their copper plugs Thanks for any advice/help 2late4u
jkeaton
Don't overthink it. Buy a torque wrench and look up the proper torque if you are that worried.
