lauriezi63
Hello, I am Laurie, I have a 2014 that has suddenly overheated. I let it cool, put antifreeze in and drove 2 blocks to PepBoys. They have replaced tstat and upper and lower hose assemblies and did coolant flush. Now I am told that the part that goes from hose into aluminum engine block needs to be replaced, it was brittle and leaked again. Yesterday was $1400.00 and am told today is additional $540.00. This is the 2nd time this has happened in the 5 years I have owned it. I don't have high mileage and it has been a good vehicle except for this issue. Is this a common problem with this vehicle????? Thank you!!! Laurie

2late4u
probally the 2.4 eng , and to be honest lauriezi63 you need to find a different mechanic other than pep boys as i have know 3 different people i know that use them and they all had bad repair luck when using them...other than that without knowing which eng and part you are talking about it is hard to answer correctly jkeaton
