wade7575
My friend has a 2013 Dodge Journey and I got him a 64GB usb thumb drive and his radio won't play the music that's on it,when you insert the usb thumb drive it just usb not recognized. I have tried formatting it in NTFS and Fat and I also used a good quality music converting program that I have been using for years to convert the music files to mp3 as well. Does anyone know if there is a certain thing that has to be done to play the music files,I have also tried another 64GB Kingston and a 16GB Transend usb thumb drive but non will work. Summer Solstice
The thumb drive needs to be FAT32 and the files need to be mp3. Sounds like you are already there but need to verify. larryl
larryl
I find in my 13 Journey that a SD card works just as well as a USB stick and its out of the way
Locosiete
I want to say all files need to be a specific file path not just on the stick. But I could be thinking of something else
