Limp mode after repairs

I have a 2009 Journey, 2WD 3.5L.

It has had many parts replaced within the past year and was working fine with no issues until the timing belt broke. The belt braking caused bent valves and a broken crankshaft.  It went to a proper mechanic and was repaired. After that repair it now goes into limp mode.  When the battery is disconnected and reconnected it starts normally and drives perfectly until it is shut off then goes into limp mode again on restart.

The mechanic had it for a total of 5 months with the last 2 being trying to find the source of the limp mode issue and believes its a module issue but cant narrow it down.

There are no codes showing and this is a list of everything that has been replaced/repaired.
