HAN
i have 2014 dodge journey 2.4L engine. More recently i have noticed coolant getting pushed into expansion reservoir over the period of few days and never gets sucked back into radiator. brought to dealership and they couldn't figure out the problem. this is what i have done so far: replaced radiator cap with original MOPAR cap. replaced both thermostats with original MOPAR parts flushed cooling system couple of time and have new coolant put in car is not over heating at all temp stays between 175-185f. only time it starts getting hot is when enough coolant escapes from radiator to expansion bottle and not sucked back in. i have to siphon it back into radiator. There is no white smoke or milky oil to justify for head gasket issues but radiator stays pressurized even after cooling down. any help would be appreciated with the diagnosis of this issue. 2late4u
check your return hose from the coolant jug to the rad to see if any small cracks/loose connections that might not leak but wont keep suction action of coolant back to the rad
