Daniel Anderson
Has anyone experienced dripping water onto transmission shifter cover steadily for ten minutes after engine start up. John/Horace
Behind glove box is the fresh air blend door actuator. It is part of hvac controls and it partly opens when car is shut off to vent interior of car. Prevents mold from growing on ac evaporator during summer. Helps release interior moisture so it doesn’t form frost on interior glass and hard surfaces. Make sure it’s actually functioning, you can see it move with the cabin filter removed. If the windows are not keeping clear, door is stuck and new actuator needed. Common on high milage Journeys. There shouldn’t be dripping water because ice shouldn’t form in the first place. Daniel Anderson
Leaks around plastic (beige) cover attached to head-liner where there is a seam between plastic pieces at front of plastic to seams on left and right sides almost (sunglass holder which is dry) maybe some water coming from a map light swivel. If vehicle increases speed suddenly, more water drops come. Inside temperature set at 21 C.
5rebel9
Can't tell from your picture, but does the car has the sunroof option? IF it does, then I'd suspect the drain lines are clogged with debris, a common issue with all factory sunroof cars. Daniel Anderson
Yes it does. I understand from a FFun salesmen that the sunroof track has to be removed to access drain holes. Is the removal procedure easily done ? How do you clear the obstruction without causing any further water intake ? Should vehicle sunroof stay away from direct water pressure in a touch-less car wash ? Daniel
larryl
As long as the drains are kept clear the water should drain properly That being said sunroofs can become a nightmare on any brand of vehicle for the most part they suck
