Welcome to the Forum! Now please excuse while I mumble a few nasty things as I wait impatiently for my Journey to arrive, LOL

Glad you are enjoying the car. What model did you get?

options?

Color?

Pictures?

Those of us who don't have their journeys yet need this info so that we can live vicaiously through you...

Well LBT

It is a Inferno Red Crystal Pearl SXT FWD with beige interior. It has a 3.5L V6 and the third row seats.

It also has just about all the goodies you can get excep the GPS. I really like the SIRIUS satellite radio and Multimedia system. I like the fact that you can down load CD's into the 20 gig hard drive of the stereo. My kids love the vidio screen in the back. Like I said it is one sweet ride. I traded in my RAM 2500 deisel (because of the price of deisel) and it drives me nuts because I can't hardly hear it running. Sorry about the photos I can't get my camera to work.

What Journey/color did you order? I got lucky my was sitting on the show room floor and he only hat 2 in stock. He said that he has sold 6 and was having trouble getting replacements. Let me know what you think of yours.

Patrick :happy feet:

Welcome aboard! Yes the DJ is a pretty smooth runner and quite. It is a bit choppy over rough roads with the Performance Steering/suspension but super smooth on the highway :)

My dad has an Inferno Red CP 2000 Dodge Caravan so I had to get black :)

I just got back from my first road trip in the new Journey. I went to the Mt Capulin Volcano National Monument in NE New Mexico. It was a great trip. The Journey ran great and it climed right to the top of the Volcano. The gas miliage was a little dissipointing I only got 19.6 per gallon but I was fighting a strong 40mph head wind both directions. It was very windy the whole weekend. I also drove it to my father In-Laws ranch with no problems. I had to forge two creeks to get there and the Journey crossed right through the water no problem. It was nice to have the SIRIUS satellite radio becaus at the ranch you don't get regular radio stations. (Thats how far out in the boonies his ranch is) Well take care

Pat

Hey and welcome Pat,

Sounds like we have the same tastes. I also have a Inferno Red SXT FWD w/ all the goodies except rear DVD and navigation. I know replacing the tires will kill me, but man I love the 19" wheels. Averaging 19.6 while in a climb with a strong headwind seems pretty good.

Yep the tires will be over $120 I'm sure. The funny thing is my wife never wants to wash the car. After our road trip I got a lot of dirt and mud on the Journey and she got up and washed it. Now if I can just get her to wash my other CAR......Please!!!!!!
