MoLy23
My 2012 journey started shaking like an unbalanced washing machine on a Monday. Took it in that morning for a diagnostic and had all spark plugs and coils replaced. Problem solved right? Wrong! Drove fine for about 35 min and the engine light came back on. Took it back in Wednesday for diagnostic #2 and they did a full oil change. The mechanic said the light came on because of low oil and sure enough the check engine light went away. 30 min into my easy commute home my car is now making a constant loud clicking/grinding sound anytime the engine is running, not just when accelerating. It’s getting towed back to the shop in the morning since I can’t drive it without making it worse. What could be the issue and aside from getting rid of the thing, what can we do to fix this engine issue?
2late4u
LOL so much useless info without the needed info? most important which engine and how many miles on your journey? who is doing the diagnostics/ dealership or local garage? new to you or have you owned your journey for a long time and what kind of maintenance have you done or not done? Now it at least knows what to look out for in the next vehicle it gets! RIP Journey 4.9.2024 Summer Solstice
