gab Posted December 30, 2010 Report Share Posted December 30, 2010 long time fan of Chrysler, this is my 5th of their models, still own a 2002 300M which I love. I'm not really sure why they replaced the sporty 300M with the boxy 300/300C, side by side I'll always pick the M model. They should have continued to sell them side by side, they are sharing the same platform. Anyway, the new Journey replaces a Nitro that came to the end of its lease term, just did not feel like buiyng it out. I liked the Journey the first time I saw it parked on my street 3 years ago, but they came into production about a year after I got the Nitro, I would have taken the Journey instead. A really smooth drive so far, if it comes to brake problems I'll just replace with better rotors and pads, not a big issue for me, and I also took extended warranty for 5 years, never know when you might need it.
