Mcgusto82
There's a small under the floor storage compartment on the 7 seater DJ. Don't forget the 2nd row in floor compartments, and the front pass seat compartment. You already have all of those in all DJs. The reason I love the grand caravan is the stow and go seats. 95% of the time the seat behind the driver's is stowed under, but every now and then, I use it. And it's great having it there when I need it. Same with the 3rd row. You'll appreciate it when you need it.
Brucebotti
Everytime I look in the mirror and see the three Grandbabies, I'm glad that we got the seven seater... !
bigtsr
The only reason I have the 7 seat is that after walking out of the sales dept several times they offered to deduct the $1300 off for the 3rd row,I was only wanting a 5 passenger. humansoul
I first wanted the 7 seater, but none on the lot to choose from that had the Crew package, so I settled with the 5 seater, which I'm glad I did. It didn't matter how many times I tried to sell myself with the 7 seater, everytime I tried to put myself in the back, I could not withstand being there for another second. Mind you, I personally would not be the one sitting there, but the thought of my passengers having to put up with the small space, I couldn't bare it and would end up apologizing the whole ride! IMO, I think there's more cons than pros when it comes to the 7 seater Journey: -I may be wrong, but I would think with the extra metal and parts needed, the 7 seater would weigh more thus increase in fuel -Less cargo space, defeats the purpose of a long haul and not enough space for luggage for all 7 passengers -You'll probably end up being the car to use those long hauls with family or friends, so more chances of abusing your Journey versus someone who only has a 5 seater -Really bad visibility in the back when the seats are up due to the headrests But as others mentioned, it's your preference as to what you'll be doing with your Journey! Enjoy!
bigtsr
Honestly my 3rd row has been folded down since it was new. I sat in the 3rd row once when cleaning out the DJ and with the other seats set to proper spacing I fitted in nicely but a long trip would be a problem-I am 6'2" 220 lbs. I was concerned about the extra weight but as I only put on about 12-15000 kms per yr it's not going to break the bank as with 95% of my driving being city it average 11.2 L/100km. bluejeep
Does anyone have a picture of the under floor storage available on the 5 seater?
