Berta710
Hey, so I got this 09 journey sxt... it doesn't have the different zone AC and heating controls just the basic one. So yeah it blows cold and hot air goes on different settings but the fan won't go on high setting. I replaced the blower motor and blower motor resistor. But nothing... should I look at replacing the actual control that sits in the dash? If so is it possible to like upgrade it to the fancier looking one with more settings? Also I'm having an overheating problem. Originally thought thermostat but changed it and realized the fan isn't working. Changed the fuse no luck, so im now looking at replacing the Radiator fan relay resistor. Really hope that works. If not I'm assuming I gotta change the whole fan out? Thanks for any advice... 2late4u
If you are having a overheating problem DO NOT mess around with it very long you don't want to accidentally overheat and ruin your engine,,,,not sure which fuse it is, but had a problem yrs ago with my daughters caravan and it was the connector in the wiring it looked good on the outside but was making an intermittent connection at times and was melting the inside of the connectors due to the loose connection...ARE you checking at the rad fan if it is rec power with a meter?and as far as the inside blower fan speed yes it could be the switch (not sure on the type you have on an 09) good luck and please report back on what you find out to be your solutions to these problems for others to learn from larryl
