Giova
Hi, I bought a new CD of music (not mp3) and when I try to play in the REQ radio after 20 seconds of play beginning to stop and continue, after several times of trying to play the CD on the display disk read error message and ejects the CD. I request the change CD with a new CD in the store and I happened exactly the same. I request the change of REQ radio and next played well but the next day began to exhibit the same problem. This CD sounds good on any other radio without problems, but fails in the REQ, in addition to this radio does not display the information in the name of the band, like other radios. Who has had these problems?

Who has had these problems? If I understand you correctly... You - bought a new CD and put it into your REQ - Plays for about 20 seconds or so then skips and gives error. - Exchanged the CD for another and still skips. - Got the dealership to swap out radios and finally got the CD to play - Next day it wouldn't play correctly. If dealership DID change out your REQ for a new one, they may have put in another defective unit. Chances of that are very slim. My guess is the dealership ran a lens cleaner of some sort and you still have your original unit. I have the REQ and it has performed flawlessly with everything I've put into it (burned/original CD/DVDs). You may want to take it back to whomever you got to replace the unit and ask them what they really did.
Giova
Your understanding is correct. I myself saw when they changed the radio the other, this worked for a day and then happened exactly the same. would be that I can send the CD iso file to burn it and it can provide in your radio? I think it's a defect of compatibility with the radio, since testing the CD in other radios do not feel the same.

If its a store bought CD, go to the dealership and try it on another Journey REQ. If it works then ask dealership to change for another radio again. Show them the problem you are having. Its a pain, I know, but do it before the warranty is up. If you want to send me an ISO, PM me and I'll send you my email.
Giova
I already tried with another radio of the same type and the problem is the same. the Dealership argues that is the CD, because i want to send the iso to try the disc in your radio, only if you have the same radio (REQ reference). so I think it's a compatibility issue. DURCE01
I got the same problem with my Journey's Media Center 230. No matter whether it's a brand new CD or a copy. it plays for a few minutes then failed. There is no warranty on the car anymore.
