TheHammer85
2012 Journey base model. 142k miles. CEL with code P0335. Car gently hiccups at low rpm and increases intensity as you get it more throttle. Sputter/hiccup is very random and has on 2 occasions, made the car die. It will in fact start back up and run every time. Replaced the CPS and tested the car again. Same results but now the code is p0339 and no longer p0335. I have inspected the wiring as much as I can without taking apart the whole engine harness and found no visual defects. The plug is clean and dry. I also stared the car and while at idle I wiggled all wiring leading to the harness and the main harness itself with no results. I have checked all grounds I can find and the battery terminals as well and found nothing loose at all. Checked voltage on the battery and its over 14 while at idle and a bit over 12.5 while off. I know it could be the computer( has been replaced in the last year or so) and it could be the crankshaft reluctor/tone ring(whatever you call it) but I would like to go over everything else it could be before doing anything with those 2. Help would be greatly appreciated. If you need to know anything else just ask.
