Angel
Urgent help! journery 2013, 2.4 Code P0016 I have already replaced the CKP and CMP sensors, as well as the two VVT solenoids and the light is still on. The timing chain system was changed (the timing was checked to make sure it was correct) and the light with the code P016 continues to appear. Help!! I don't know what else to do. John/Horace
Who did timing chain work, is it a new tensioner? Was a cam relearn procedure used ? At least the 4 cylinder is easier to work on then the 6. From google…. If the cam timing is OK, remove the phaser from the camshaft and check for a worn dowel pin/dowel pin hole. This could be beyond just a sensor problem. Edited August 19 by John/Horace larryl and Angel

Did you do a hard reset to your pcm and tcm? I would try that, especially since you changed those sensors. I'm sure the fuses have different numbers just pull every fuse that is labeled pcm and tcm even the big square one. I had four fuses that were connected to my pcm and tcm.
