jkr81
so does 2011 Journey`s tail LED lights fit into 2009 model? and if they do,where can i get those? i live in Finland so freight payments are twice as big as the price of merchandise... example:i tried to order floor mats, chrome gas cap and that cargo area molded tray. price of those items was something like 200$ and total cost with UPS delivery to finland was like 500$ so i really didn´t want to pay that much... and those prices in finland are horrible, like that chrome gas cap was in u.s. like 60-80$ here it costs 170€ (220$) ! The outside dimensions look to be the same but they might have a different connector to the light. A dodge dealer would be the only one to get these since they are brand new. Germax
Rear lights might fit but also consider that these are LED's. The work on a different "power" so you might need at resistor in the lines as well. This is a common problem on today's cars.
Deckster
Also consider that LED lighting does not produce enough heat to melt snow off of the lights in bad winter weather when you need them to be most visible.
amir1973
No. The new lights have a slightly different shape. They wont retro-fit.

They are a direct plug-in replacement and can be ordered in different configurations. I got the ones the flash momentarily when you step on brakes for my 2010. You will need to wire in an 8 ohm resistor between the hot and ground to make sure they flash at a normal rate of speed ($2.49 at Radio Shack here). moms toy
No. The new lights have a slightly different shape. They wont retro-fit. they do fit i just finished converting mine. connectors are different but when i purchased the lights from the junkyard i also bought the pigtails. with the right tool i removed the pins from the ones on the truck and put on the pigtails from the junkyard. lights work fine with a resistor for the turn signals. tdtman

This post is pretty old, but typically you would use a 50w 6ohm resistor, one for each side.
