Clicking noise next to the back seat, even with car off

Hi guys! When I got into my 2013 Journey today, I noticed a loud clicking noise coming from between the back seat and the trunk on the right side. The noise lasts for about 5 seconds and repeats every 15 minutes or so. It sounds like a relay activating or a small motor. Before this occurred, the air conditioning was turning on by itself when I started the car, and it would turn back on after being turned off on the panel. The problem also happens even with the engine off.

What is happening? Here is a video showing the problem:

Right side you mean drivers side, correct. If so it sounds like a stepper motor for rear hvac is acting up.

Small little motors used for moving flaps controls inside heating/cooling hvac systems. The plastic gears strip and they can lose track of their position. Need to be changed out to stop noise and keep hvac functioning. Probably two or three in the back, I don’t have rear hvac.  Hopefully Someone with more knowledge answers. Parl looks something like this, undoing plug will stop noise, but actuator door will stay in one position afterwards. Losing some functionality.
